Justin Sadegh: The Expert

#Sketch

I’m going to start making comics again. Thank you to everyone who asked me if I was making comics and I had to shamefully reply ‘no’ to. You’ve inspired me.

This is Cthulhu and Aquaman discussing adventure. This is just a sketch, the plot to my actual comic will be far worse.

“Big Face, Big Canvas”
is a reactionary piece to the “Big Canvas, No Face” style of art. It incorporates multiple mediums including ink and water. Anyone interested in purchasing a “Big Face, Big Canvas” need only supply me with a face and a negotiable amount of cash monies. Will also work for candy or movie tickets.

For the record, I haven’t stopped drawing, I just haven’t had a scanner for a while.

In continuation of the super hero theme, I present this depiction of the hulk. It’s pretty much just me drawing from a reference picture of him but I changed up the face and the shading isn’t as intense. He also has no legs (because I’m still experimenting with what they should look like). Hopefully soon I’ll finish coloring him and I’ll post a picture of the finished version.
Now I know what your thinking, why should you care about my drawing when you can find better ones via google? I’ll be honest, your right.
That’s all I have to say.
Enjoy.

So what have I been doing since the end of this season of “Experts at Nothing”?
If you guessed drawing a lot of Batman you’d be correct. Why am I drawing so much Batman? Your guess is as good as mine, but for your viewing pleasure, here is: The Batman.
This is just a rough sketch of Batman I did and cleaned up a bit in photoshop. I think it’s pretty sweet.

So here’s a lion on canvas I did a while back for a friend. It’s just sharpie on canvas (because I lack all ability to paint).
Entitled “The Lion Canvas”.

So here’s some images of the self-portrait project I did for this self-portrait contest. The way I did it was I took a bunch of Facebook pictures of myself and drew them in a collage format. This was probably one of the hardest projects I ever did but I loved it. Turned out to be one of the things I’m the proudest of. My only regret? I wish I’d found a scanner big enough for it while it was black n’ white so I could have had a copy to color in photoshop. Oh well.

The colored version I think turned out pretty sweet. It’s a mixture of markers and colored pencils. Why did I do it that way? I just thought it would be fun/cool. If I could do it over again I would have just used colored pencils. But I still think it looks awesome. So I hope you enjoy it, because I had fun making it.
